This practical webinar is designed to assist Members in managing social media interactions as a healthcare professional. The session will provide information on the application of legislation and guidelines on the use of social media, demonstrating how these apply to common scenarios via a series of case studies. We will share how MDA National assists Members in this area, in addition to briefly touching on using social media as a tool in your practice.

This 1.5hr interactive webinar is aimed at doctors and practice managers who use social media in any capacity. At the completion of the webinar participants will be able to:

  • Identify social media platforms used in medicine
  • Identify the laws and guidelines that impact social media
  • Consider ways to manage your medico-legal obligations relating tosocial media
  • Identify MDA National’s role in supporting Doctors in this area
