Are you an IMG who is Employer Indemnified? You can check your eligibility and apply for our new offer. 

Students, Doctors and Practices can use our digital application portal to request a quote and submit an online application. You can save your progress on the portal at any time and return to your application when it suits you.

Please note: The digital application portal is currently for New Members only. If you have previously been an MDA Member, or completed an application with us, please use a PDF application form to reapply (Students, Doctors or Practices) or contact us on 1800 011 255.

International Medical Graduates that:

  • Obtained their medical degree overseas more than five years ago
  • First registered with Aphra within the past three years
  • Work only in a fully employer-indemnified role (no private practice or billings)
  • Are not classified as a Doctor in Specialist Training
  • Meets all case and insurance history requirements

Industry Alliance Discount

If you're a member of AMA WA, AMA Queensland or the ASO, you might be eligible for a reduced premium. To receive this premium reduction, submit your application then call our Member Services team on 1800 011 255 or email peaceofmind@mdanational.com.au.
