Understanding changes to the Fair Work Act

Recent amendments to the Fair Work Act impact areas such as job security, work conditions and Enterprise Agreements and represent the most significant changes to Australia’s industrial relations system since the commencement of the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth). It is important for members to be across these changes to ensure they are aware of their obligations and rights as employers/employees.

This 1.5hr interactive webinar aims to provide doctors and practice managers who own or run a medical practice with information to assist in their work and practice when it comes to employment and work conditions.

At the completion of the webinar participants will:

  • Understand how Fair Work Legislation applies to you
  • Locate relevant National, State and Territory Legislation on Fair Work and websites
  • Identify key changes to the Fair Work Act being implemented from December 2022 to December 2023
  • Apply knowledge of Legislation changes to various case scenarios
  • Understand how MDA National can support you in this area

This webinar has been approval for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) with various medical colleges.

This webinar is complimentary for MDA National Members and their practice owners.
