Dr Benson is a principal specialist GP in Melbourne. An AGPT Trainer and University of Melbourne GP    Supervisor, he is actively involved with the RACGP – serving on the education expert committee and as one of the faces of the ‘Your Specialist in Life’ campaign. Dr Benson has served on several management committees here and in the UK, and held representative roles including as an MDA National ambassador.

Dr Naidoo has more than 15 years' experience in clinical and medical leadership roles. She is an experienced board director and Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She also holds a Masters in Health Management and fellowships of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators and Australasian College of Health Service Management. Dr Naidoo is also the Chair of MDA National’s Queensland State Advisory Committee.

Dr Gannon is a renowned Obstetrics and Gynaecology practitioner based in Perth, and an advocate for the medical profession. “MDA National extends heartfelt thanks to Dr Beres Wenck on her retirement from the Mutual Board after her dedicated service as Vice President for the past decade. Beres has been an instrumental part of the MDA National family and, I’m delighted to say, continues in her current role on our Clinical Underwriting Committee.

“I’d also like to thank Dr Patrick Mahar for his active participation on the Mutual Board over the past three years – in particular, his contribution to the Constitution Working Party which has seen a new constitution for MDA National Limited approved by the membership at the 2018 AGM,” Mr Anderson said.
