Terms and Conditions

Apply for membership and professional indemnity insurance or update your details to receive your Intern Ready Toolkit.

  1. Information on participation in this offer forms part of these terms and conditions of entry. Entry into this offer is deemed to be acceptance of these terms and conditions set out below (‘Terms and Conditions’).
  2. The offer is being run by MDA National Insurance Pty Ltd ABN 56 058 271 417 AFS Licence Number 238073 (‘MDA National Insurance’) of Level 3, 88 Colin Street, West Perth WA 6005, Australia, phone 1800 011 255. MDA National Insurance is a wholly owned subsidiary of MDA National Limited ABN 67 055 801 771 (‘MDA National’) (together MDA National Insurance and MDA National, the ‘MDA National Group’).
  3. The offer is open to an individual who:
    a. is a Member of MDA National and who:
    i. is a final year medical student or an intern holding a professional indemnity insurance policy with MDA National Insurance for the year ending 30 June 2026; and
    ii. has confirmed or amended their details by submitting the Update Your Details form
    or
    b. is a final year medical student and has applied for membership with MDA National and a professional indemnity insurance policy with MDA National Insurance by the offer closing date and is subsequently approved. (‘Eligible Entrants’)
  4. The offer commences Wednesday 29 October and ends at 5.00pm (AEDT) on Tuesday 31 March 2026. No extensions will be considered.
  5. The offer is not open to employees of the MDA National Group or their immediate families.
  6. The offer is an Intern Ready Toolkit consisting of: Death Certificates & Coronial Reports booklet; Confidentiality & Consent booklet; Benefits of Joining MDA National guide, information on member discounts.
  7. Each Eligible Entrant is only eligible for one Intern Ready Toolkit.
  8. Once the Eligible Entrant has updated their details or applied for Membership with MDA National and been accepted, an Intern Ready Toolkit will be emailed to the email address registered by the Eligible Entrant within 1 business day.
  9. The Eligible Entrant must, on request, be able to provide evidence demonstrating that they are an Eligible Entrant and have complied with these Terms and Conditions.
  10. The offer must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if the Eligible Entrant is unable to use the offer as stated. The offer is not transferable to another person or exchangeable for other goods and services and cannot be redeemed as cash or other than as stated in the voucher.
  11. The MDA National Group and its respective officers and employees will not be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury whatsoever (including but not limited to direct, indirect or consequential loss) which is suffered or sustained in connection with this offer, the promotion of this offer or the use of any voucher, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. All Eligible Entrants indemnify the MDA National Group against all liability, cost, loss or expense arising out of their participation in the offer.
  12. The MDA National Group is not responsible or liable for any Eligible Entrant’s inability to participate in the offer whether due to an inability to opt in or apply for Membership, problems or technical failures of any kind, unavailability or inaccessibility of any service or website, electronic or human error or otherwise.
  13. Entry details remain the property of the MDA National Group. Entrants consent to the MDA National Group using the contact details provided in connection with their Membership and MDA National Insurance policy for the purposes of facilitating the conduct of the offer.
  14. The MDA National Group collects, uses and discloses personal information of entrants in accordance with its Privacy Policy for the purposes of conducting this offer. Eligible Entrants may access, change and/or update their personal information by contacting the MDA National Group on the number below.   15. Where this offer is communicated and/or conducted via a social media platform (including, but not limited to, Facebook, LinkedIn and/or X), Eligible Entrants acknowledge that use of social media platforms are subject to their respective terms and conditions of usage. The offer is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered, nor associated with any social media platform.
