Good Cause Elective Photo Competition 2008

MDA National is pleased to announce an exciting initiative - the Good Cause Elective Photo Competition!

Traditionally MDA National runs the annual Elective Essay Competition for students taking their elective within the next twelve months. To add value to the whole experience, MDA National has developed this new competition for students who have already been on their elective.

We understand that many students complete their elective and wish that they could do more to help the communities that they have been working with.

Through the Good Cause Elective Photo Competition, MDA National wants to help you, help them.

If you have a thought provoking or meaningful photo taken during your elective, send it in for your chance to win a donation of $1,000 to the medical charity of your choice (the medical charity must be a tax exempt).

The winner and the first and second runners up will also receive a framed copy of their photo (up to the value of $200).

The competition will run from 1 July 2008 to 30 September 2008 and is open to current MDA National Student Members who have completed their elective.

$1,000 can go along way in buying medicine in a developing country or helping resource a disadvantaged group so get snapping and submit those photos!
