MDA National is the first medical defence organisation in Australia to launch a convenient online quote facility on their website.
The facility calculates subscriptions for medical indemnity instantly, enabling doctors to take more control over their choice of indemnity by providing them with subscription information on demand.
Chief Executive Officer, Peter Forbes said the introduction of an online quote component to the website is consistent with MDA National's policy of openness, transparency and innovative member services.
"Doctors in Australia are taking a greater interest in indemnity then ever have before. They want quick information and they want the ability to scrutinise their options. This online facility will help them do just that" said Mr Forbes.
The online quote facility will be available from 13 December 2002 and can be found in the 'Join MDA National' menu on the website.
