Have you ever thought about what you would do if you were under investigation by your university for cheating on your exams?
From July 2009, MDA National's Student Indemnity Policy coverage extends to academic misconduct, allowing you to focus on your studies with the confidence that your reputation and future will be protected.
Your Student Indemnity Policy now features the following NEW cover inclusion:
- Defence costs for an allegation of academic misconduct by you made by the university you attend*
And continues to cover you for:
- Medical negligence claims
- Defence costs for Medical Board and Coronial investigations and disciplinary proceedings
- Defence costs for allegations of sexual misconduct or criminal conduct of which you are exonerated
- Claims arising from Good Samaritan acts worldwide
The policy provides up to $20,000,000 cover in the aggregate for all claims under the policy with a sub-limit of $500,000 in the aggregate for defence costs for Investigations and Inquiries.
The annual cost of the Student Indemnity Policy is $15.00 including taxes.
