2006 Elective Essay Competition - Were you a winner?

This year we received over 70 entries in the 2006 Elective Essay Competition - special thanks to all those entrants! These med students are doing their electives in amazing destinations around the world, from Swaziland to Samoa and the competition was strong with essays outlining "how the medical elective adds value".

Congratulations to winning student, Brent O'Carrigan of UNSW who won $2,000 towards his elective in South Africa. Stephen Gildfind of Melbourne Uni, was first runner up, winning $1,000 and Chloe Smith of Monash was second runner up winning $500.
