Please note that this policy is a Claims Made policy. This means that the policy will only respond to valid claims notified to us during the period of insurance. It is important that you report all circumstances that could give rise to a claim during the period of insurance. It also means that you should consider whether you need to have Run-off cover after you cease practice or your policy expires.

The policy will also have a retroactive date which means that it will only respond to matters that arise from the medical services that were provided on or after the retroactive date. It is important therefore you understand the nature of this cover and that you choose a retroactive date that meets your own particular needs.
