Regulatory Environment

MDA National Insurance Pty Ltd is committed to meeting our regulatory and legislative obligations.

As a General Insurer we:

  • are prudentially regulated by the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (‘APRA’); and
  • hold an Australian Financial Services Licence issued bythe  Australian Securities & Investments Commission (‘ASIC’), which authorises us to deal and provide financial product advice on general insurance products.

MDA National Insurance Pty Ltd is a participating company of the Financial Ombudsman Service, and our Members’ privacy is protected by the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
