The Annual General Meeting 2009

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Medical Defence Association of Western Australia (trading as MDA NAtional) was held on the 10 November 2009.

Following the AGM, MDA National CEO, Mr Peter Forbes, was pleased to announce that the following positions on the MDA National Council would remain the same for 2009/2010; A/Prof Julian Rait as President, Dr Beres C A Wenck as Vice President and A/Prof Max Baumwol as Chair of Finance.

Building on his contributions as President in 2008/2009, A/Prof Julian Rait is focused on continuing to serve the MDA National Membership.

"In my role as President it has been a great pleasure for me to be serving our Membership. I look forward to 2010 which marks MDA Nationals 85th year of supporting, protecting and promoting the best interests of Doctors."

A/Prof David O Watson, Dr Robyn Napier and Dr Fiona Bettenay in accordance with the Rules were elected to the AGM.
